Trevor Linden Says Hello. You could win!

We’ve just helped Trevor Linden, the famed hockey superstar turned real estate developer, get his Twitter account up and running, and, being the good guy that he is, he wants to reach out to the Twitter community and say hello with a contest to aid a good cause. Along with our generous friends at The Glowbal Collection of restaurants, Trevor and four other people will meet for nice fresh seafood lunch at Coast Restaurant on Alberni Street.

Here’s how it works. Charity and not-for-profit groups, or individuals representing them, need to send us an email explaining how they would use this fantastic prize to raise funds. (Four people, plus Trevor, lunch at Coast) Send your entry to contest@braunallison.com by October 2nd, and we will sit down with Trevor and choose the entry that has the most merit, based on how much money you can raise using this prize.  You’ll need to convince us your idea is valid, and that you are for real!

Some examples: maybe you (or your charity of choice) hosts a big fundraising auction every year and attract a few hundred well-heeled patrons, and can offer a minimum bid of $XXX?  Maybe you work for a magazine or a TV station, and you can auction off the four lunch seats to four members of your audience in order to benefit your favourite cause? Get creative, and figure out the best way to leverage this hockey fan’s dream lunch date with Trevor to raise as much money as you can.

Remember: deadline is October 2nd. Doesn’t need to be a fancy entry, but it needs to be convincing. Entries get emailed here – contest@braunallison.com.
