Winners of the “Lunch with Trevor Linden Contest”

A few weeks ago, we helped Trevor Linden to gear himself up for Twitter, and get himself a little more extensively online (read more about this here). In return, he was generous enough to donate a bunch of great stuff to local charities. The Glowbal Restaurant Group chipped in too, offering free lunches at the new Coast, and Society, their new Yaletown restaurant. A huge number of people sent in entries to describe what they were doing, and how Trevor could help.

The entries we received were all outstanding. Trevor truly had a lot of trouble deciding whom to pick.

A big thanks – and good luck – to everyone who sent in an entry. People like you make life a lot better for all of us.

   My girlfriend won the bid for the signed jersey donated to the 100 Mile Angels spaghetti dinner tonight – she is so exited to give it to someone special this Christmas – thankyou for the generosity to such a good cause – this group of people put a lot of work in every year to raise money for breast cancer – I am so very proud of them and have had a fabulous time every year – good cause, good people, good food, good entertainment = A GREAT NIGHT!
